Many, Many IT folks, especially in the partner community (Cisco, PAN, etc, etc) are avid MAC users cause we get tired of the windows bloat, the relentless security inadequacies, and the crashes. Not sure why VMware has not developed a vSphere client for MAC OSX.I was looking to find the Host IP which is causing the conflict and found some various options to find the results from both the ESXi VM level and hope. In one of my ESXi host we have found the alert mentioning the NFS IP Conflict and it points the specific MAC address as the owner. VMware has HTML5-based access to VMs in Horizon View. The ideal way to get a platform-independent management console with rich interaction is through HTML5. It has taken a while, but there has been some progress for Mac tools to manage vSphere directly. For a long time, the only option was to control a Windows machine from the Mac. The path to managing vSphere with a Mac has been a slow process.
